12th Annual National SCADA Conference |
24th Mining Electrical Safety Conference |
Smart Electricity World Australasia 2013 is dedicated to improving reliability, efficiency and opportunity across the energy supply network. Join senior executives from transmission and distribution companies, together with global pioneers in the successful adoption of smart technologies for two days of instruction, debate and networking. Now in its 5th year, the summit continues to attract and deliver cutting edge solutions for Australia’s energy future.EECON 2013

26 - 27 June
EECON 2013, the EESA NSW annual conference & Trade Exhibition, will again be held at the Australian Technology Park Eveleigh this year, on 26 & 27 June. This location has proved to be very popular and convenient for conference exhibitors and delegates. It is very accessible, with plenty of car parking and easy access from Redfern Railway station. It has a large space for exhibitors and good access for heavy equipment. That ensures exhibitors can ably display their products and hold detailed discussions with the many delegates. All meals and refreshments will be served in the exhibition area to ensure maximum exposure for exhibitors.
This is a technical conference for providing ongoing professional development for technical people in the electricity industry. Members of Engineers Australia will earn professional development points. Based on previous conferences we expect 150-200 delegates with all levels of seniority from the NSW transmission and distribution authorities. We also expect a large number of younger people new to the industry and this provides the opportunity for exhibitors to get to know them, as future customers, and for the younger people to get to know the companies which support the industry and provide valuable equipment.
In today’s busy world close networking with colleagues from other networks and manufacturers is difficult, but still vital for making progress both personally and in business. This once-a-year conference provides the ideal opportunity, and must not be missed. The conference will focus on the fast changing world in transmission and distribution, both in Australia and overseas. Innovation will be addressed in detail, covering areas such as intelligent networks, smart grids, power quality and renewable technologies. Large ambitious projects will be discussed, as well as recent disasters and lessons learnt. The final plenary will have experts discussing the future of nuclear power.
A range of exhibition spaces are available and these can be reserved on a “first in, best dressed” basis. There are also a wide range of sponsorships available and these provide exhibitors with extra publicity and help to ingrain company names on present and future customers. We urge early bookings as each one is only available until sold.
