Mine Electrical Safety 2020 Conference – CANCELLED @ Pullman Mecure Brisbane King George Square
Nov 30 – Dec 2 all-day

[19 June 2020]

For 30 years, Mine Electrical Safety Association Conference (MESC) attendees have told us that they receive incredible value from meeting face to face with colleagues and friends in the industry.  They value the technical programme and equally value the chance to socialise and network, as well as learning about the new products and services offered by our sponsors and exhibitors.

We are aware of the economic impact being felt by our sponsors, exhibitors and attendees and their organisations and that many companies will not approve staff travel for the remainder of the year. Due to this, as well as the uncertainty as to when a conference of the size of MESC can be held (and what restrictions will still be in place), it is with regret that the MESA Committee announce the cancellation of the Mine Electrical Safety Conference in 2020.

We had investigated the option of holding a virtual event.  However, it is our view that holding a virtual event does not provide the same value to attendees as when we meet face-to-face – MESA conferences are all about the networking and sharing of knowledge and experiences!

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2021 conference which will be held from Monday 7 June to Wednesday 9 June 2021 – again at MES Conference Headquarters at Pullman & Mercure Brisbane King George Square.

Information on the 2021 conference will be released by November this year.
